Laurie Young, born in Toronto, moved to Berlin in 1996 to perform in “Allee der Kosmonauten” and other productions for Sasha Waltz. From 2000 to 2003 she was a member of the ensemble at Schaubühne Berlin. She also worked with Meg Stuart, C. Macras, B. Lachambre, Animal farm Collective, E. Salomon, G. Millwood und N. Martin-Gousset and others. Her own work has been presented at Schaubühne, Radialsystem, Sophiensaele and the Museum Of Natural History in Berlin. Laurie is performer and important collaborator in hanna Hegenscheidt´d production "Don´t recognize me".
